Accessibility

Mike and Karen Murphy wants everyone to be able to browse artworks, learn about the studio, leave a note, and complete a purchase. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as a practical target for this site.

What we are working on

• Skip link to main content and clear keyboard focus styles
• Semantic page structure, labeled form fields, and meaningful image text where needed
• Keyboard-operable zoom controls on artwork pages
• Respect for reduced-motion preferences on decorative motion

Known limitations

Some third-party pieces of the experience, such as PayBright's hosted card fields at checkout, are outside our full control and may have their own accessibility behavior inside an iframe. High-resolution artwork images are large files and may take longer to load on slower connections. We continue to improve labels, contrast, and interaction patterns as we find issues.
